Mongramming is the newest oldest craze

December 4th, 2014

As you run from store to store and website to website this holiday season, you may come across many items that feature personalization.  Maybe an initial on a coffee mug, I saw some just the other day at Target. Or maybe it’s a cute necklace or bracelet with a name or monogram, they have been all over Etsy’s site.  Any place you may see them, there is no denying that personalization is in and even more is monogramming. Monograms date back as early as 350BC. The earliest known examples are of the names of Greek cities who issued the coins, often the first two letters of the city’s name.  Artist’s use monograms to identify their work. People use monograms on stationary and stamps to identify where the letter or item came from.  As a couple gets married, personalizing your gift is a great way to make it that much more special.  We are our names, they are used to identify us, call on us. They are what makes us unique or stand out.  Who would you be without your name, first, middle and last? It’s your identity and who you are.  So in the spirit of names, I introduce our newest item, our Monogram Sweatshirt.  Monograms can be done with one, two or three letters in any color.  We are currently offering white or gray sweatshirts, hoodies or crewneck.  The Monogram Sweatshirt makes a great Christmas gift. How about gifts for your bridesmaids or maybe a Mommy to be?  Our monogramming and personalization doesn’t stop there. Stay tuned to our blog as we feature more items with names, initials and monograms.  Call us or visit us on the web at for more info on our Monogram Sweatshirts.MAS
